Qualifications
I am a qualified translator with an MA in Translating (with distinction) from the University of Salford. My first degree was in International Business and Modern Languages and I have completed an Open University course in Working with our Environment: Technology for a Sustainable Future.
Experience
I have several years' experience working as an in-house translator for Shell, FT.com and Computec Media UK and am familiar with a wide range of business and commercial texts. A number of my translations have been published online and in children's non-fiction books.

Creative writing
Writing as Ros Woolner, I have had poems and short stories published in a number of poetry journals, magazines and anthologies. My first poetry collection, On the Wing, was published by Offa's Press in 2018.
